We packed up after a lovely breakfast at our surprise beach car park at Ardtoe and headed for the Ardnamurchan lighthouse, the most westerly point in Great Britain. The roads were like cycle paths in some places with lots of passing points.
The final few metres of the road were very demanding and there was a traffic light system to control the flow of traffic. We only just fitted through the very narrow road with a wall on one side and the rocky cliff on the other!
We had a great day in the sunshine at the lighthouse and enjoyed the fantastic views for a few hours and then we set off and headed for the isle of Mull to find a place to park up for the night. We checked on Google maps and Park4night and looked for a place with a pub nearby!
