Leaving Portnadoran. The Prince's Cairn

We left the camp site at Portnadoran and headed off to explore.

We headed for the most westerly point of the British Isles, Ardnamurchan lighthouse but, there were lots of other things to see first. We drove south and headed for the Prince's Cairn. This is a stone which shows the spot where Charles 1st left Scotland to travel to France.

From The Prince's Cairn we drove along the Loch-side roads and started to head west towards the Ardnamurchan light house but first, we wanted to see what all the fuss was about regarding "The Monster Midge"
