Portnadoran site and beaches

The site at Portnadoran was clean and well established with full facilities which included clean water, electric hook up, all waste disposal, laundry, showers etc. but cost £26 per night!

The beach was one minute from our pitch and was stunning. We parked up and got ourselves hooked up, filled with water and Gas on for a cuppa and then went for a walk on the beach with D. It was cold and windy but beautiful and we explored for a while before returning to base camp.

The following day we explored the area walking along the coast road and diverting onto the beaches when possible. We google'd the nearest pub but as it was 5 miles away we decided that it was too far away and just explored. We got back to the campsite and chilled in the warm for the rest of the day.
